The well proven hull design on the new 585 SportsCruiser boasts 20 degrees of deadrise at the transom, delivering a smooth ride in rough conditions. Designed exclusively as an outboard hull, the extra width in the beam and depth at the bow also assures a perfect combination between stability and rough-water performance.
Boating enthusiasts looking to venture further a field will be impressed with the long-range capabilities of the Streaker 585 SportsCruiser. Whilst having a maximum outboard rating of 200HP, fitting a 150hp 4-Stroke Yamaha will provide an outstanding cruising range from the SportsCruiser's huge 145 litre underfloor fuel tank, a standard feature.
Moving forward with 585 Series heritage, the SportsCruiser cabin design has received a complete revamp both on the inside and out. Outside, the stylish cabin windows and extended stainless steel bow rail give the boat a striking cruiser quality. The new wide-line deck delivers more cockpit space than ever before, while a windowed forward hatch provides cabin access to the anchor well. An electric anchor winch is also standard equipment.
On the inside, comfortable full-length bunks with in-fills and a Porta-Potti, integrated into the starboard-side bunk platform, complete a roomy and practical interior layout. Tinted roof and side windows allow ample light into the cabin whilst providing excellent UV protection.
The cockpit is well set up and utilises all available space to house a multitude of cruiser appointments. On the passenger side, a fully plumbed sink is cleverly recessed into the coaming and draws freshwater from a 57 litre onboard tank. Completing the passenger side cockpit setup, is a stove located underneath the pedestal box seat. Recessed storage pockets for an EPIRB unit and a fire extinguisher are also tucked away on opposite sides of the cockpit.
The rear of the 585 SportsCruiser has been set up with family entertainment in mind. The rear swimming platform provides a large and safe entry point to the water and is an ideal base for managing snorkelling and skiing equipment. The integrated stainless-steel rear boarding ladder makes boat entry and exit an easy task, while the transom mounted hand shower makes light work of cleaning the deck.
The deck layout aims to please with a large folding rear lounge and cockpit table more than capable of comfortably hosting a multitude of guests. A well placed ice box takes care of refreshments. Camper covers are provided and completely enclose the deck area in the event of bad weather or overnight onboard living.
