Streaker Range Grows With New Release 6100 Navigator

Melbourne boat manufacturing icon Streaker Boats has launched a new, larger model that will delight serious bluewater anglers and family boaters alike.    The Streaker 6100 Navigator takes the Streaker ‘Walk Thru’ concept to a whole new level.

Already, the Streaker ‘Walk Thru’ concept has proven a winner with anglers.  Beginning with the nimble 4.85 series right through to the 5.45 Navigator, the market acceptance has been exceptional providing the impetuous to take the concept into the new 6100 Navigator.

By any standards, this new release is a substantial trailer boat.  The rig has a hull length of 6.1m and a generous beam of 2.49m.  The 20º deadrise and flared bow design is a customer’s guarantee of a smooth ride.  Tow weight is approx. 1.8 tonnes and the hull will accept power up to a 200hp two stroke or 150hp four stroke.

In following the tried and proven Streaker design criteria, the 6100 Navigator has a beamy open cockpit set up for fishing, elevated helm and passenger seats behind an elevated dash, then underneath the sweeping deck line is a spacious cuddy cab.

In true Streaker style, the ‘Walk Thru’ deck design is an extremely appealing feature.   Gaining easy access to the anchor in a rolling sea with big swells should be made as easy as possible.

Leon Savage has designed a simple yet entirely functional system whereby the centre panel of the windscreen swings open, then the large foredeck hatch opens to port.  The crew can literally step up to the anchor well, without climbing over bunk cushions, in complete safety.  What could be simpler?

Within the cuddy cab is enough space to stow gear and take a break on one of the vee bunks.  The 6100 Navigator is not designed as an overnighter, but certainly anyone who needs to catch a short nap or escape a rain storm will find the cuddy cab more than comfortable enough for the task at hand, particularly if fitted with the optional centre bunk kit.

In line with modern boating practices, the helm station has a wealth of space to fit engine instrumentation as well as a host of essential navigational and fishing electronics.  The elevated helm position provides a very comfortable drive position with excellent all round vision.

Throughout the Streaker 6100 Navigator, boaters will appreciate the crisp clean surfaces.   Thanks to a meticulously prepared hull liner, the inside of the cuddy cab and the inside of the side pockets are presented as clean and smooth fibreglass panels.  This not only makes the boat look smart, but the smooth surfaces are also really easy to maintain and clean.

The fishing features carry on through to the aft end of the 6100 Navigator.   There are rod storage holders fitted under the coamings, lights are recessed into the sides of the cockpit and there are four flush mounted stainless steel rod holders.

At the transom the stern quarter seats can be removed or inserted in the blink of an eye as the fishing style dictates.  Removing the rear seats gives exceptional access to the transom for landing your catch. A generous sized and well appointed bait board slots into holders fitted to the aft coaming.

The Streaker 6100 Navigator has been released as a complete turn key package with Yamaha 150hp four stroke outboard and custom Easytow tandem trailer at an introductory price of $67,450 ex Melbourne, “tow away no more to pay”.  Remember this is a complete factory rigged package with not a cent more needed to go fishing.

Streaker Boats is a leading Melbourne marine retailer, being authorised dealers for Quintrex, Streaker, Lewis, Yamaha outboards and Wave Runners.  The company is one of the few Yamaha dealers in Australia that has been awarded the status of Platinum dealer.
