Over the years Leon and Paul Savage have developed a range of components and accessories that have been fitted exclusively to their own line of Streaker Boats. But as customers have returned with their faithful Streaker hull for an upgrade and a refresh, there has been solid demand for the latest, most contemporary Streaker equipment to be fitted.
“We had customers come to our showroom tossing up whether to refurbish their existing Streaker or go with a new boat,” Leon Savage said.
“Many of our long established customers settled on a refurbishment, but they liked the new Streaker seats or our latest bait boards and wanted to use these assemblies in their make over.”
While the Savage family saw a market for their accessories, they also came to realise that what fits a Streaker Boat will most likely fit many others too. The decision was taken to put a range together of the more common assemblies, release the range of Streaker accessories and then gradually grow the range.
At the outset the Streaker range of accessories comprises their excellent fibreglass seat boxes which are available in small, medium or large sizing. The box is available on its own, or as a complete assembly with seat box, tackle tray, live bait tank, single burner stove and a choice of upholstered seat on top. The possible combinations are endless.
Streaker has also released a new fibreglass bait board as part of the Streaker accessories range. This features stainless steel legs and bases and mounts across the coaming in front of the outboard well. The board itself has a bait storage unit under a hinged lid, plus a drain fitting which directs waste scraps overboard.
One of the new Streaker accessories certain to be popular amongst family boaters is the removable fibreglass cockpit table. This kit comes complete with oval shape table, adjustable pole and floor mounted base unit. Now you can add a convenient table to your bow rider, runabout or cruiser.
