Just wanted to shoot through an email letting you know how I'm getting on with the new toy. 

I wanted to start by thanking you for everything, the whole process of buying a boat was not only stress free, but every step of the way I felt confidently informed, despite my being 1000 km's away.

I was a little nervous buying a boat that I hadn't even seen in the flesh let alone test driven, however the readily available info along with reviews and my own research made me feel secure in my decision. 

I just took the yet to be named 'other woman' down to Narooma on the NSW south coast for a week of learning and experimenting with my partner, 5 year old daughter and Staffy. The trip down the Clyde mountain was a little hair-raising, but I think this was more to do with me being unused to towing such a load (and that I was still being precious and didn't want to scratch her!). Once on the water I had trouble finding any fault at all, and can safely say that so far she has met and exceeded all expectations -  I've attached a few photos to show you how we got on.

The boat's been getting a fair bit of attention and inquiries along the way as well and I've been quick to sing Streaker's praises. I couldn't be happier with you guys and the boat - she'll be getting
alot of use over the coming years fishing with the boys and relaxing with the family. 

I also wanted to thank Andy for towing her to Canberra for me, I don't think I could have done it first off! 

I'll keep you informed how we're going, I might need to ask the odd question every now and again. I also wanted to order 4 spare bung plugs for the back (the large centre one) as I've tried a few shops
but the size is a bit different.

To Streaker Boats,

I must say it was a pleasant surprise to be able to do business with what can only be  describe as a very professional organisation. My wife and I travelled interstate to inspect a boat, which can leave one in a vulnerable position after spending that amount on travel. This was far from the case at Streaker.
From the moment we walked in the door and were greeted by a smiling Denise, to meeting face to face with Wayne Adolphson (as all previous communication had been via e mail) we were made to feel welcome and at ease. We inspected the boat and Wayne was attentive and helpful with our questions, then provided us with the free space and time to discuss privately the features of the boat.

At this time we decided to go ahead with the water test and were fortunate enough to have Shaun Savage as the test pilot. Shaun continued the professional approach and demonstrated genuine customer service.  We only needed a very short time on the water ( which I might add was on a day with water so rough most people would not venture out) to agree that the 5.45 Tournament  was definitely the boat for us.
When we returned to the dealership we were again provide opportunity to privately discuss our thoughts without feeling neglected.
Paul Savage provided all the necessary information re transport for us to be able to ship her home on the 3,000K road journey to Cairns, along with options to protect the keel in the less than ideal launch areas we have to contend with up here.
It is not often you get the chance to talk boats to the guys who design and build the boat, this is very reassuring especially when it is the same organisation you are buying the boat from.

A very nice touch was the bottle of bubbly (saving that to she arrives in NTH QLD) and the owners plaque in the boat. We will wear the Streaker caps with pride as well.

Paul and the team definitely demonstrate that genuine customer service is not only available, it is alive and well in this day and age. 
As soon as our baby is delivered from the transport we will  start enjoying the Great Barrier Reef in our Streaker boat.

Will we recommend the team and the 5.45 Tournament  to other people?, without a doubt !

Dear Streaker Team

We have had the boat now for about 11 months. We are the proud owners of a Sports Cuddy 502 with a 100HP EFI 4-Stroke.

Paul and Leon were great, as were any of the sales staff that were in the showroom on weekends. I liked the fact that I could ask any questions, get an answer when I needed it, be left alone to just crawl over the boats without having a salesman hastling me constantly - but never that far away either when I needed them. I particularly value what seemed to be quite honest and genuine options on what might or might not suit our needs. The suprising thing was that they were not price based options to make the purchase more expensive. Heck, we were even talked out of some options that, in retrospect, I am glad we left off.

We have been in for a couple of scheduled visits for services and whether it is the boat factory or the workshop it is a class act. Everybody is pleasant, knowledgable, helpful and even willing to answer the inevitable dumb questions.

Would I recommend Streaker to other people? - Absolutely - and I have already done so!

Would I purchase another boat from Streaker? - You bet!

All in all - what I wanted to say was thanks for the experience and a change to our lifestyle.

Just a short note to provide a little customer feedback.
I purchased a 5.45 Tournament in late 2004 and since then have used it extensively both on the bays and the deeper water off the Victorian and Southern Coast of NSW.
The boat is the perfect balance of lightweight towability while still providing stability at rest and amazing handling in rough weather for its size.
I have had the boat out off the shelf at Bermugui on many occasions and managed to land a few marlin, sharks and tuna and have found the work deck layout and fittings to be very well thought out and perfectly set up for fishing.

Just wanted to drop you all a line and wish you all a Merry Christmas and tell you how absolutely delighted we are with our boat.

It is 1 year old now and has performed admirably in all roles, waterskiing, family cruising and truly blue water fishing, but you guys already know that!

Highlights this year were fishing off Coffin Bay on our west coast. The boat performed well in seas in excess of 7 metres, far better than the crew!!

Anyway, I thought I would express my appreciation and highly recommend this craft, particularly with the 150HP 2-Stroke, to fisho's and family boaters alike.

Just a quick note to thank all of you with the purchase of our boat. It's great to see the personalised service that always comes with the owner operated business. We looked at all the major boat yards but yours really stood out the most, not olny with the standard of boats on sale but the level of customer service aswell. Nothing was ever a problem and all the staff were great. The final touches of the flowers, champagne and plaque with our names on it really showed me that you all not only just sell boats but ensure your customers are 100% sure of their purchases and make sure they have a great start to some memorable boating adventures. I have already been out in ours a couple of times and thoroughly enjoyed it.

It has been almost a year since we took delivery of our 5.02 Sports Runabout III, and we can't thank you enough. The first point of contact from when we were browsing, decision making of the appropriate boat for our purposes, through to ordering and personal modifications, the Streaker team have been exemplary. Not forgetting the exceptional quality and attention to detail with our boat itself. We love all of the features Streaker Boats have to offer and haven't seen of any other company who utilises space and functionality as Streaker Boats do. The ongoing support and friendly staff when we visit the showroom remains exceptional, whether we visit for a purpose/purchase or browsing, we are treated as people, just as we were when first browsing - always welcome. So often consumers buy a product and staff are keen to help until purchase - but the team at Streaker remain ongoing to their commitmant long after purchase, and for us, this made the choice of purchase, so much more worth the while. Every time we take our boat out, we love it more and more, and have no qualms in recommending Streaker Boats to a potential boating enthusiast.
